Enterprise migration to Webflow completed in under 3 months for 5x faster marketing
We migrated 4,000+ CMS items across 3 languages to Webflow Enterprise, with zero SEO loss and 5Γ faster marketing velocity.
Backbase is one of the Netherlands' most valuable tech unicorns, alongside companies like Mollie, Adyen, and Bunq. With a β¬2.5B valuation, 2,000+ employees worldwide, and over 150 enterprise banking clients including Barclays, BNP Paribas, Lloyds, and NatWest, they're a global leader in engagement banking, powering digital experiences for financial institutions in over 50 countries.
Their marketing website had grown into a complex, high-risk ecosystem on CraftCMS: 300 static pages, 800+ CMS pages, and 4,000+ CMS items across 3 languages.
Before touching a pixel, we mapped out the roadmap: priorities, quick wins for conversion, and design direction. Then we moved fast.
"We want our .com to be a growth engine, not a bottleneck. We want to ship brand experiences fast, not wait months for simple updates. We want a platform that works for us, not against us."

Optimizing the macro funnel
We took a deep dive into Sambrosa's user experience, identifying opportunities to make each visitor journey clear and effective
Funnel simplification
We removed unnecessary Β pages that added noise rather than value, and ensured every journey across the website pointed to the product page as the destination.
A smarter product page
Instead of having different pages competing with each other for conversion, we created one smart product page, featuring all the necessary details and options visitors need.
Flexible purchase options
To support both new and returning customers, we created a way to buy a one-time product or add a subscription seamlessly, adding flexibility to their purchasing decisions.

The real challenge behind the migration
Backbase needed to move fast, but their platform was holding them back.
Developer dependency
Every content update required developer involvement, creating bottlenecks and delays. The marketing team had ideas, but no way to execute them independently.
High-value SEO at risk
With strong rankings built over years, any migration error could mean significant traffic and revenue loss. There was no room for experimentation. We needed a surgical approach.
No clear path to faster time-to-market
The team knew they needed to move faster, but lacked a roadmap to get there. Which pages should be prioritized? Where were the quick wins for conversion? What design direction would best serve their brand?
Scale and complexity
300+ static pages, 800+ CMS pages, 4,000+ CMS items, and 3 languages created a migration challenge few agencies would take on.
Empowering ownership through design systems
What works today might need to evolve tomorrow. A high-conversion website is only as powerful as its ability to adapt, test, and optimize when needed. With our design system, Tunify gained full control to drive and sustain their digital growth.

And we're not done. We continue to work closely with Backbase to maintain the high standard we've set together, bring new innovations to their platform, and provide the extra capacity their team needs to keep moving fast. This isn't a handoff. It's an ongoing partnership.

Don't just take our word for it
